This EP tells the story of pain, survival, hope, and kasi dreams through the eyes of a young boy who grew up facing struggles but never lost faith in his journey. “Parafini Lights” symbolizes growing up in tough conditions where paraffin lamps lit the house during dark nights — representing poverty, memories, family, and perseverance. The project blends emotional storytelling, kasi realities, street culture, and spiritual growth with African trap melodies and heartfelt lyrics. Each track reflects different chapters of life: growing up in a grandmother’s house, losing loved ones, betrayal from family, hustling through pain, and chasing success through music. Musically, the EP carries a soulful South African sound inspired by township life, combining Tswana, Xhosa, Sesotho, and street slang to create an authentic kasi atmosphere.
